New Edelbrock heads

I got my heads for my 340 build and began to wonder if I should have them ported. Heads say good to 400hp, but am not sure if porting them would be worth the money.
Car will have .030 over pistons and around 10:1 compression after the block is shaved and I have a Hyd. Roller cam with the specs being just about the same as a 70 stock 340, 750 cfm carb and duel plane intake, so should I spend the extra money to port the heads or leave them alone?

This is all I am going to do to the engine, btw I did put a 46rh behind it. Just looking for a car that will have good performance and street manners. Heads are Edelbrock 60175.

Porting never hurts as long as you get a competent porter. A mild port on the street will maximize your combo.
