CDR, I like the drive shaft. Looks a lot like the one in my 68 Road Runner. Had it built by the shop that did Bob Glidden drive shafts. Double tube stainless steel.

well i put my used 4.57 gear in & drove my junker down the street ,,very noisy gear,moral of the story is DONT buy a used gear!!! i knew better but i was trying to save money. i was going for more of a race car but now i am changing direction,with the problems MS is causing i wont be able to race this car anyhow, so now going for more street. got a 3.91 gear on the way & with my OD trans 3500rpm will be 102 mph. hiway cruzzin.


installed the 3.91 & drove down the street with the ac blowin COOOLD,NO MORE GEAR NOISE very happy

cleaned the garage,so now it back to body work.

AWESOME Charlie !!   I think you are going in the right direction making it a street car. Racecars tend to break something expensive fairly often and  enjoying it when you want to and can is just not happening if it is a racecar. By the way, did you know racecar spelled backwards is ..... racecar! A palindrome !!!
Get it ready for paint. Shoot some nice paint on it and cruise it!
The A/C must feel pretty good and will be a welcome addition come this summer!  It will be here soon enough!!

  On the street no less. I only got mine down the driveway and then back up on jack stands. Great job Charlie. Can't wait to see whats next.
