What do you need to do to get on the track on Friday.Thinking of taking my 70 roadrunner 440 4 speed, I know I'll need a helmet but what else.do you need to pre register ?l would like to see a 13 in the quarter,what time would I need in the 1/8 th for the math to work out. Thanks guys  :shruggy:

I suspect they are going to want you to dump the coolant and run either water or water with water wetter.

Why would you say that?  Never been to that track but Ive been to Englishtown, NJ to race & never had to do that with my car :shruggy:

Might have to run some sort of catch can system though but not likely....ran mine just as she came from the factory :Twocents:

you have to have an coolant over flow bottle.

Track days usually require that so that dumped coolant doesn't lubricate the track. Of course this experience comes from motorcycles where it's much more likely that:

A dumped bike results in a ruptured radiator and
things with 2 wheels don't stay vertical on slick surfaces.

So I can see how that might not apply to cars, even more so on cars that take one pass and can afford cleanup in between.

Battery hold-down.
Radiator overflow can / bottle / whatever.
Driveshaft loop for stick cars running 13s or slicks.
Helmet.?
Long pants,  actual shoes.

Tracks and tech inspectors vary.     Most stock type racing doesn't require too awful much...   oh yeah... no booze!
