why do you say that? Nothing on the car makes me think Drag car except maybe the extra couple gauges? Oh and the silly wheels  :icon_smile_big:

Low back bucket seats with lap belts don't really scream drag car to me  :nana:

And what do you mean altered wheel base?

remember i am down here where it gets over 100deg a lot.radiator looks like an alum gm universal type radiator.not mopar but probably works ok,& i dont like flex fans,i know the direct drive fan is factory type, but on a hot rod i like to use a clutch type fan, direct drive fans rob lots of power & can come apart at higher rpms.

Two different batteries in two different pics.

Which is the current one?  Are there electrical issues that are hiding, that the seller hoped a new battery would "fix"?

Yeah, you're right.  Now that you've shown me what a stock one looks like.  It's that long trunk overhang in back that had me wondering, made me think the whole body had been shifted rearward for extra traction.  I forget how long these old cars were, even a so called small car like a Dart!

fy469rtse

Have a look at trunk photos closely again, ? I think I see rust starting to lift through paint at the rear of trunk,
Also covered up rust starting to show in bottom of wheel well , even with out these signs, has a lot of or thick coat to areas that you would not bother to do this to , I would have a good look at floor from underneath, check rear deck panel to rear window from under inside boot , if dodgy repairs , they usually forget to do the other side of coverup,
But other than inspecting car in person , looks great in photos , miles on engine, signs of a lot of use, maybe give the drive line a good inspection

I thought the same thing when I seen my Dart in person the first time I bought it. The wheel base seems way too short.  :icon_smile_big:

No go. He rejected my $17,000 offer and said he would only drop the price down $500 to $21,000 :(

Charger-Bodie

You've already had a cool dart anyway. Change can be good.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

twodko

My sense is the color and the wheels make the ass end look unnaturally long.
I think different wheels and black stripes would make the car look great.
Those white stripes just don't break up all that light blue enough.

Have you bought that beauty yet?    :drool5:

I tried offering $19,000 but he's stuck at $21,000.

The guy who was supposed to buy my Dart back out literally at the last minute. I only have $17,000 in my account until my car sells  :-\

You shouldn't sell your car, keep it so you can have a pair.   :2thumbs:
