THE CHARGER PUNK

ive seen a original 70 cuda 318 4-spd car , im guessing by ur comment that they never made one?-MATT

Troy

They made a 318 3-speed in 69 - maybe they're confused. Says they have a build sheet though so that could be interesting.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

bull

At the top of the ad it says it has a 440 but in the description it says it came with a 318 and now has a 383 with 500 hp. ??? ??? It's obviously not a 318 but it's hard to tell if whether it's a 383 or 440. I'm no expert but 500 hp seems a bit optimistic for a 383.

Troy

Looks to be a 383. The ad also says it has a "3.50 Open" rear. I'm wondering if these guys really have any clue whatsoever.

It's hashed together...  Look at the Automatic Console plate that's chopped...

That shifter looks like it's from an S-10 truck or something.
The body looks good & at least it would be an easy fix to correct a few wrongs.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I don't know about a 318 four speed, but I recently sold a very abused 1968 Charger four speed that was a 383 two barrel car.  I think the gentleman that bought it said it was like a one of seventy-something manufactured that year.

You can always tell when a Chebby guy does a repaint. The engine compartment is black and the trunk gets the obligatory speckle trunk paint.  :rotz:

I agree with Telvis...the old engine compartment/rattle-can job gets old.

Well i'm sure that someone out there with a 69 Charger SE is wishing they could just get those dash pieces.

Big Lebowski

30k. Prices have doubled, that used to be a 15k car.

1 of 74 were 2 bbl cars right and for all of 68 383 4-spd cars wasnt it 1 of 259?

694spdRT

I think there were 259 of the 383 4 bbl 4 speed cars built in addition to the 74 383 2bbl cars.
