First, my 75 roadrunner runs very well, is smooth and dependable, I'm probably stupid for asking this question:

Would it make a difference in the performance if I were to reconnect all the emissions hoses/systems?

The previous owner disconnected the bulk of the hoses, vacuum ports and relays. I've studied the system and I really can't figure out what they do?
I supposed they served a purpose at some point but now I'm not sure.

I like having he car as stock as possibly with the original systems functioning. What happens if I put the emissions back together?

depends on what was actually disconnected....I doubt you will see any "seat of the pants" performance with everything connected unless parts were changed out like carb or dist.

getting any parts that may have been tossed or broken while disconnecting may pose a problem.

Does this have an "air pump" on it? Most of the systems back then would have been to regulate spark & timing to reduce emissions under deceleration and idle

personally, I would rather look at the engine compartment with everything as it should be rather than see all the vacuum control valves sitting there with nothing on them

And with a lot of those early emission systems, as poorly as they impacted performance the car had been optimized with them.  Just disconnecting some of them without recalibrating the affected areas could actually make things worse.

Emit nothing. Always have deniable plausibility.
