'73 Charger, auto, with a center console. Is there an aftermarket shifter that will fit without having to cut the console up. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Why do you not like the stock shifter? Is it a slap stick?

I successfully mated a Hurst quarter Stick to a buddies 66 Coronet console, but was labor intensive.

Gunslinger makes those faux pistol grip automatic shifters as well.

For us it's just a matter of preference. Without even having to test ours with a shift r gate we can tell it's a bit sloppy and we prefer a bit tighter feeling when having to shift all the time.
