SICK of the saying old school!

Please people try and think of some other way of saying how it was back when you were young. Plus if your 21 or so old school means mid 90's to me and that isn't "old school". If you are talking about a specific era just say it.

Example of overused saying of old school: That Charger with the Cragers is old school.

Example of same saying used by a non-bonehead: That Charger with the Cragers is like the one I had back in the 80's.

Flame away or add to it.

I associate the saying with homie G-funk ghetto thugs. I cringe when I hear it. Can you feel me dawg?  O0

Hmmm... I went to an old school when I was a kid. Didn't bother me that much. ???

I like the "Old School" saying myself. What saying I HATE is "sick" as when someone uses the word as something is cool :rotz:   Sick has and as far as I'm concerned, will always mean "a cold", or "gross".

Well it meant you had the flu
I miss back when"

The term "old school" reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons with NSync on it. That's all one of the characters said. So when I hear the term I associate it with a cartoon boy band member.
Nothing wrong with specifying the timeframe is from "That's the look of the late 60s." /early 70s/late 70s-etc. Or be thought of as a cartoon boy band ex-member.

Me too.
There's a couple youngsters at work who say that often...and whenever I have the chance, I reply with "you think it sucks?" They say "no, it's cool!" (like I'm an idiot), so I say "well say COOL then, dipshit!" :D
I can't wait for "tight" to go away too.

As far as "Old school", I don't mind it, but I probably don't percieve the phrase the same way as others do. I guess things like that affect individuals differently, depending on how & where it's most often used. I feel I'm fairly old school...i.e. I'm stuck in the 80's, for the most part. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
