Is this heat shield/wrap a good deal?

This is what I was thinking of doing also , will help some , ? How much is anyone's guess,

I completely intend to use something similar before I set the drivetrain in my car.  IMHO, it's a cheap insurance and hopefully prolongs having to remove the SOB.

Yes it's an excellent product if your headers are in close contact (inch or two).  I use thermo wrap on the trans cable and starter because for me they are right on the headers.
