While it is not in my possession yet, I have been corresponding on here with a member who was considering selling his 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in Y3 Cream. While a few of you may know him, I had the pleasure of flying out east to see his beautiful car in person and spend some talking to him. After checking it out head to toe, and verifying everything is there, we are proceeding with a sale. It has the #s matching 440 magnum, column shift with 8 3/4 rearend. It looks and sounds BEAUTIFUL. I assured him that this car will be well taken care of, and I hope to continue the level of care and attention he has to it. I searched for almost half a decade for a nice, original example that was done right. I absolutely cannot wait to bring some Mopar flavor to the local car shows in Wisconsin!

So I guess we won't be seeing that one at Carlisle any more. Well, congrats to you any way!

I figured at 29 and after 6 years of USAF service it was time to seriously pursue my car dream since childhood...Ron has taken awesome care of it and the amount of information he has on his car is staggering. I sincerely think the ONLY possible thing I might change on it will be going to 15" chrome magnum 500s and redlines from Coker. Now if only I can convince my girlfriend this car is 1000x sexier than my BMW Dinan 3 coupe.....

Are you planning on taking the car to the spring Jefferson, WI show/swap meet? Would like to see it someday.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Sorry to see her go Ron.  Enjoyed seeing her in Carlisle.  Sounds like shes going to a good home and a few states away....exactly how I want mine to go....never want to see it at a local show!!!

Good luck to the new owner...you truly have a fine example now

I've seen the car at Carlisle enough to say you got one heck of a nice Charger, one that is very well maintained, and cared for!  Enjoy it

It's a consideration, as long as it's not rained out like it always seems to be!

My understanding is that Ron might shift gears a bit as far as vehicles but he'll still be going to Carlisle. Having never been myself it sounds like paradise for a Chargerholic like me. I would never get sick of seeing 9 or 10 69s or 68s in a row  :icon_smile_cool: The way he talked about every detail and thing with his R/T makes me want to continue to preserve it's originality. Unfortunately it's outside for my BMW though to make way for the Charger though it's hard to say no to this face  :'(
