Installed new gauge cluster.

Did your original cluster have a gauge or idiot light? If it had an idiot light you have to change the sending unit also.

nope, it has a gauge, sorry I didn't specify, it's a 69 Charger.

Make sure your connection on your sending unit is still clean and good. Then make sure the pins on your
circuit board are still tight. I have had a gauge go bad once, but it was because a friend put my sending
unit wire between my firewall and brake line as a wedding prank, well if it had not damaged my gauge it
would have been funny, anyway they can go bad.

the way that they connect to the sending unit is crappy.  uses a female spade and slides over a pin on sender.  mine used to pop off all of the time.

The oil pressure terminal is in the same connector as the other gauges.  If they work the connector is on right.

Try grounding the wire at the sensor while someone watches the gauge.  If it doesn't go up I'll bet the pin on the circuit board lost it's electrical connection.  They can do that and still feel tight on the board.
