Hi

(there is a reason why a ask)

Is the production wing and same as the race wing on a Superbird.
I do understand the bracing is different, but what about the uprights and wing.

Thanks

The uprights and center section are the same as a street car.

The upright pictured is "supposed " to be a race wing, its drilled for cables- thats a cut cable in the front hole, ???

didn't the 'Bird race wings also have set screws in the horizontal section? Mine does, or is that only a Daytona thing?

My wing had the a little bit of the upright cut out for the cable to go from center piece to upright piece..but I filled it in

Yes, in addition to the cable,  it is common to see set screws added by the teams.

The vertical pieces have flush mounted or button head cap screws holding the tubular internal reinforcements high into the upright.

Here is one with the cable going through it

yup...that's what my uprights looked like when I got them...I filled the holes in though.....plus my center section has the 8 set screws in it.
