Well, we know that he had to fix the engine, transmission & front suspension.   :icon_smile_big:

There were things I "improved/detailed", but because I wanted to. The car was what it was and what they stated...

Exactly, but again, because I wanted to. What Mark is eluding to is the fact I'm changing out the 440 for a 426 Hemi, rebuilt the tranny because I want it fresh and updated the front bushings with polygraphite.

I wondered if they were reading it back when one member retreated a bit from his earlier statements.  It was almost like a cease and desist order.

I think it would look way better without the 15" Ford Magnums on it.
If you put 15" Magnums on a Mopar as a personal choice for a driver: Ok
But for a collector show car? No way

People like me might have rare cars but drive the pants off of them.   When my 6 pack 4 speed Bird is done, I'm driving the crap out of it.   I might even make it my own and piss off a lot of Mopar people. :nana:

On something as easily changed as wheels and tires I wouldn't give it a second thought.  I would happily keep a set of as delivered for a rare car and a set of what I prefer and swap them around as the mood strikes.  If you think about it, there is a very good reason almost all of those musclecars were ordered new with the cheapest wheels available.
