Hi guys,

I want to build my 1973 440 engine to 500HP (crank), so I would like to here your opinions and ask you for help off course :)

What do you think about these parts below, for this build and what else you suggest?

As I see in many threads, the best option for heads is Edelbrock Performer RPM 60929 heads: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-60929

I already have Torker II intake manifold: http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/edl-5091
Do I need to change it for Performer RPM intake: http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/edl-7193, and what will I loose/get if change?

Holley Model 4150 Carburetors 0-80531:  http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/hly-0-80531

Keith Black KB Performance Pistons KB237-030:  http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/uem-kb237-030
What about Head gasket and compression ratio I need with these Pistons?

Edelbrock Head Bolt Kits 8591:  http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/edl-8591

COMP Cams Xtreme Energy Camshafts 21-225-4:   http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/cca-21-225-4

Rocker arms...??
Lifters...??
Pushrods...??
...

I would like to make about 500HP/500lbft engine and I think that it is not too hard to get it from 440CID, but I need your help to define every single part before I order it :)

Thanks a lot in advance.

I didn't see anything specific regarding these parts on this thread:

ICON Forged Pistons
Clevitte Rod & Main Bearings
CompCams XE284H Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam
Johnson Hylift Lifters
Rockers Arms...

From the above thread,
* This one uses the CompCams XE284H Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam, .507"/.510"Lift, easy on parts.
* The better fully Street Ported Stealth Heads
* A port-matched Performer RPM Intake Manifold.
