I don't mind a bit if someone wants 2 parking spots as long as they park way out in the parking lot.  It just shows they care about their car and don't want a bunch of door dings (or worse).  But don't pull right up to the door of the store and think you can take up 2, that is just rude.

its the way I always park my REAL cars if I have to stop for something (daily got a door ding its first day with me  )i'll pick the most remote corner of the car park and park right on the X of the four parks to give some space around the car , go to store and can guarantee some jerk will be parked next to it when I come out  . normally waiting to give a mouthful ,funny all have driven away silent

I cant even begin to try and count the number of people i have actually caught sliding across my hood. Some have even got mouthy with me when i flipped out like they had every right to do it.
