Steering Column

Purchased 70 Charger and steering column was laying loose. Looking for some help in how it works and how it mounts to the dash.

It goes through the firewall and plugs into a coupler to joint with the steering gear and there is a bracket under the dash that mates up to the bracket on the column and is held on with nuts.  Thats simplifying a bit though.  Do you have a factory service manual for the car?

Yes I do, but i do not seem to be able to find much that helps. My problem lies in how the column attaches to the dash. I believe the past owner had wrong brackets. Do you have a any pictures that would show it better?
