HELP!!!!!!!!!! ALTERNATOR PROBLEM? PCM PROBLEM? ANY HELP....

WHATS GOIN ON EVERYONE....MY FIRST POST..HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP...

CAR IS A 2007 V6 2.7L DODGE CHARGER...

IM SUFFERING A POWER LOSS IN MY CAR..AND ALSO A LACK OF POWER OVERALL.... I AM TRYING TO RUN MY STEREO SYSTEM BUT IT IS DRAWING WAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! TO MUCH POWER AND I NEED A FIX....I AM ONLY RUNNING 1 JL 13 W7 IN A PORTED TO SPEC BOX... WITH A JL 1000/1 V1 AMP (THESE AMPS ARENT REGULATED)...AND I AM ALSO RUNNING 4 6X9 KICKER HIGHS...WITH A QUANTUM QSA4150 1200W AMP... (OBVIOUSLY I KNOW THE QUANTUM DOESNT PULL 1200W OR ANYTHING CLOSE 2 IT)..IM JUST PURELY WRITING WHAT I HAVE RUNNING...ON THE JL 1000/1 I AM RUNNING ZERO GAUGE GROUND WIRE..AND POWER WIRE...ALL CLEAN GROUNDS AND NO LOOSE WIRE, DIRECTLY TO CHASSIS...FOR THE QUANTUM AMP I AM RUNNING 4GAUGE WIRE POWER AND GROUND..ALL CORRECT...THE JL SUB, THE W7 IS WIRED IN SERIES NOT PARALLEL SO IT IS STABLE TO THE CORRECT OHMS...EVERYTHING IS WIRED UP CORRECTLY...I INITIALLY TRIED 2 BATTERIES BUT IT THREW THE AMP INTO THERMAL MODE AFTER ABOUT 5 MINS OF PLAYING..(SUB NEVER STOPS HITTING JUST PLAYS EXTREMLY LOW TO THE POINT I KNOW ITS LIKE HALF POWER...THE AMP GETS SO HOT YOU CANT TOUCH IT WITHOUT BURNING YOURSELF)...I HAD THE REGULAR CAR BATTERY..AND I BOUGHT A HIGH RATE OPTIMA YELLOW TOP BATTERY...CHECKED BOTH BATTERYS WITH THE STEREO RUNNING AND WAS ONLY PUTTING OUT 11.5VS...(ASSUMING THE ALTERNATOR JUST COULDNT KEEP UP I REMOVED THE OEM BATTERY AND AND JUST USED THE OPTIMA...THE STEREO NOW WILL PLAY FOR ABOUT 15 MINS BEFORE JUMPING INTO THERMAL MODE...WHERE IT BECOMES EXTREMLY HOT AGAIN..SO I CAN ONLY ASSUME ITS BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR CANNOT KEEP UP WITH THE POWER LOSS?? I CALLED DODGE TO ASK IF I COULD PUT A BEEFED UP ALTERNATOR ON MY CAR AND THEY SAID NO BECAUSE THE PCM REGULATES HOW MUCH VOLTAGE COMES OUT ANYWAY SO ID BE WASTING MY MONEY...I CANT EVEN UPGRADE THE GROUND AND POWER WIRES ON THE ALTERNATOR ACCORDING TO DODGE...BECAUSE IT WILL STILL SEND WHAT VOLTAGE IT WANTS...I GUESS WITH THE BEEFED ALTERNATOR, THE COMPUTER IN THE CAR WILL THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG CUZ OF ALL THE AMPS IT WILL PUT OUT...AND NO A CAPACITOR WILL NOT HELP AND IS POINTLESS BECAUSE I ALREADY TRIED A 2ND CAR BATTERY...AND CAPS DONT HELP FOR RAP MUSIC...ITS MORE OF A BIG POWER DRAW..NOT CONSTANT DRAIN LIKE RAP MUSIC...SO ITD B MORE OF A STRAIN ON MY ALT 2 TRY AND KEEP IT POWERD...I KNOW THIS CAN BE DONE IVE SEEN VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE WHERE PEOPLE RUN 2 JL 13W7S WIT 2 JL 1000/1S IN THE SAME CAR...ALL DAY NO PROBLEM SO IF ANY 1 CAN PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HELP ME I WOULD B EXTREMELY HAPPY..

IN ADDITION TO THAT.... WHEN I PLAY MY STEREO TO LONG THE ENTIRE CAR JUS SHUTS OFF...THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON THEN THE CAR JUST KILLS ITSELF....AND MY TRUNK POPS OPEN WHEN MY SUBS ARE UP..CAN ANY1 HELP WIT THESE PROBLEMS?? THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE.

Not ignoring you, just don't the answer.

This is a mostly Older Charger forum.  We set off car alarms with our exhaust. You want to do it with a sub wolfer.

From what I know the higher capacity Optima is a good choice, I use the Red topped one myself. Running larger cables from the battery to ground might help the battery to handle the electrical load spikes when the sub wolfers go "boom". Large cables from the battery to the amps will help get all the power available to the components.   :shruggy:

LOL...THANKS MAN...YEA SOME ONE INFORMED ME EARLIER. I FEEL BAD LOL THEY INFORMED ME TO GO TO LX FORUMS...BUT YEA I DID UP GRADE THE BATTERY GROUND AS WELL IT DIDNT HELP EITHER...  :'(.... THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY
