I received some new & used mopar parts and am trying to identify them to put 'em up for sale to finance some repairs on the '71.

Anyone know of a website where I can punch in part #'s w/o needing to know the vehicle? Tried a few and ebay w/o much luck. Was wasting a lot of time so I figured I'd ask the experts here.

However....I have identified that I have:
1) vintage NOS p.s./fan belt #3698905 for a '73-'74 b body w/400, 440.
14) Mopar spark plugs #2642493 62P for '68-'72) 340ci. Champion N-9YC?
7)      "        "      "    #3438413 65P for '67-'76) 318, 360ci. Champion N-13YC?
8       "        "      "    #2098381 66P for '60-'74) 198, 225, 318, 340, 360ci. Champion N-14YC?
1) New Mopar distributor #4289980 for '88-'92) 318,360ci.

Everything else looks more modern but hey...if I can get something for the stuff the '71 might get back on the road sooner!

Nobody?

Dang, I got a box of new stuff (for the most part) such as 11) belts, a couple of egr's (I think)... that I don't have a clue what they fit. Guess I'll have to keep goggling or just list them w/the part #'s and hope a buyer knows what they're looking for.

I have had very good luck simply typing in the numbers in GOOGLE. Sometimes it takes a bit of reading through , but most times I have done well on finding fitments.

Did you try http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=99
Not terribly complete, but it's a start.
Is it alot of #s?

Haven't had much success googling or on ebay. Out of 6 belts was only able to identify 1 and those plugs, which I also cross referenced to my Champion book, I'm not so sure of the fitment.
There is a couple dozen parts altogether. Haven't had much time lately to try other numbers. Not sure if I tried mymopar. Tried other mopar websites search engines and came up empty.
Strange.....I've used software & websites for the Outdoor Power Equip. industry where you can punch in any manufactures part# and it'll give you cross reference to aftermarket, what it fits & dimensions.

Automotive is maybe too complex? :shruggy:

IDK? Have you ever looked up outdoor power equipment on anyones website? Pretty extensive. I'm sure not as many as the auto industry but there are a heck of a lot of small engine equipment as well as thousands of different engine models over the years. A Briggs & Stratton engine may look the same whether on a Craftsman or a Toro but they are different with a different model number. Each equipment manufacture has they're own requirements. ARI is the main software supplier for the industry. I'm not kidding. I can pull a part off my shelf, punch the number in and it'll tell me what model machine/engine the part fits, anywhere from a few dozen to a hundred different models.  :shruggy:

I managed to trace down a couple more parts on ebay... Gotta do some more googling....once the snow is over. Another 12 hour day!

Sorry, didn't explain that well. Most people will punch their lawn mower model # into a website and look for the part they need. That won't show how extensive the software is but if you take that same part # and enter it into the search engine you will then see what I'm talking about, all the models it fits will come up. I've seen some models going back to the 70's listed.
