just did  a 3" with x pipe and now hate it.   looks like ill be buying an h pipe or going back to straight pipes

Why is that? The X is supposed to both quiet down the noise level as well as changing the tone. Is the car too quiet for you now?

No the three is louder , much more , the drone is an issue,
