Fast Ratio Idler and Pitman with Doug's Headers

Hey guys, I am hoping someone out there has a set up like mine and can help me out here.  I don't have my car with me at the moment so I am unable to do my own precise measurements.

I am buying up parts to rebuild my suspension and steering linkages.  My question is: I have a 68 charger with a 440/727, all stock suspension, steering components (well, not stock but restored to stock specs when the car was restored) and I now have Doug's Headers (manufacturers part number D452).  I would like to go with a fast ratio set up, specifically this one with the extended idler and pitman:

I believe that both arms are about 1 1/2" longer but like I said I do not have my car here to measure. Does anyone have a 440 with Doug's full length headers and have tried the longer arms?  Or if you don't have the longer arms do you believe you have 1 1/2" clearance on either side fully extended?

Thanks!

In searching for this answer I ran across a thread on moparts that seemed to answer the question.  There was a thread there that was talking about fast ratio idler and pitman and header clearance.  There was a poster who seemed to be saying that Doug's would clear the fast ratio arms.  He did not say which motor and which Doug's headers he had so I sent him a PM and he was nice enough to answer and told me that they actually do not fit.  Just figured I would share that here in case anyone searches this topic now or in the future.  If anyone else has any differing experience with this set up please let me know.  I would love a fast ratio set up but have just put those Doug's on.  Should have done my research ahead of time!

I have heard that the 2" BB 440 Doug's will clear the arms.

I don't know, yet.  And I don't know that I will spend the money finding out.  I have heard both ways.  If you know of anyone with this set up, or who I can ask for a more definitive answer, let me know.
