http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/4357108099.html  I have never seen a 318 charger with a factory tach.  I thought it was odd. Is this common on a small block car?  And I can't post pictures on here...that's why I posted the link. Maybe Tan Top will help me with that.   I think that's a nice driver charger too.  Does it belong to anyone here?

 Completely stock original condition, except for one re-paint. It has had over $7,000 worth of mechanical work done bringing it out of storage, including new gas tank, new brakes, new dual exhaust, new tires, cooling system flush, distributor, etc. . ..

I guess the phrase "completely stock original condition" doesn't mean what I think it means. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car, but I don't understand why people use words like original and unmolested after spending $7k replacing parts. :shruggy:

Yeah, sorry. I caught that and changed my post but you were too fast. :icon_smile_big:

Cooter

For the $32.5k he wants, shoulda stabbed a big block in it. He just might a had an offer somewhere close.

Thank ya Tan Top! I knew I could count on you.  :2thumbs:  Man I sure love the way original saddle tan looks!!  :drool5: :drool5:  I feel like with it being a small block its worth around 22k if its not full of mud in the valance and quarters.  1980's "repaints" scare me...  But if its as good as the pics in real life I think it would be a great driver.  :yesnod:

Owner , is it an ordered car or sales bank, it has the SE package as well, quite possible owner didn't care for a big engine but liked a lot of the options,
SE included the steering wheel,
It's a nice car, in great shape

Dino

Very nice car!  Good shot of the quarter glass with the airtemp decal as well.  I still haven't installed mine.

I love it! I would take the stripe off.
It would look great in my collection next to my white with saddle interior '70 road runner.
I like the car a lot, but in my opinion he is too high on the price.

Would need to see it in person but other than the 318 it sure is a well optioned car.  Price is high but looks to be a really nice car.

There was only one tan upholstery shade in '69, called Saddle Tan.  There was a lighter beige/gold color in 1968 and a brown shade in 1970.

Lots of people's General Lees have tan shades much lighter than '69 Saddle.  But those are copying the TV cars in the later seasons, which were sprayed with light tan vinyl paint.

Ah I did know that about the General lee cars.. Later seasons car got painted Tan.. But the first where original 69 Saddle Tan. I like that look on the White Charger. But you say that the bodum pic is a Saddle Tan to, because it can't be a 68 of 70 color shade.

Exactly! A nice car is a nice car!!

People are asking $10 grand or more for cars with severe rust and primer. This car looks really good, and has paint which sticks and seat springs that don't bite your @$$  :Twocents: If it were my car, I'd probably ask $24-$27k, depending how it really looked in person  :Twocents:

As much as I love GLs . . . I'd still vote to leave that car pretty close to stock.
