 question... will devcon work on filling a tiny hole in a cylinder head? its through  the water jacket (from the top 5/32 size) so i dont think heat should be a problem, how about jb weld with the steel in it, original formula

First welcome to the site!

My self, either have it welded up, or replace the head. Welding cast iron is not cheap.

Picture would help a lot.

I'm going to drill and tap it then use a plug

I tried drilling out a broken valve cover stud when I was using iron heads.  Went a little too far and went into the water jacket. All I did was put a little silicone at the end of the bolt and all was good.

  I plugged it and it looks good, I have the same problem with a broken off valve cover bolt so I'll keep the silicon tip in mind thanks
