Finally got the gaskets from Flatout, they looked really good. Now I need to get the pushrods on order :2thumbs:

Looking good Steve  :2thumbs: That's going to be one fun Blower Motor !  :drool5:

I'm going to recommend that you route the external oil feed line above the motor mount. This keeps the oil line filled (at the pump inlet) and prevents drainback into the oilpan. This allows the pump to prime immediately on startup.  :yesnod:

Here's a pic of how mine are routed. It's a dual line system but the same principle applies.

One question.... I noticed you have your fittings on the pan angled down. Im assuming I need to do this right? That will keep some oil in the low spot?

Steve,

Mine had to be angled down due to the oilpan design. The hole in the pan is where the centerlink passes through so the fittings had to be aimed low so that the lines would clear the link. I'm using a Charlie's 10qt race pan. Trust me, that pan makes engine installation a real pain in the azz !

For yours you can aim the line up towards the engine bracket as long as there is no interferance with the steering gear. It's just important to keep the pump inlet submerged in oil so that it primes easy on startup.  ;)
