Hi my name is addy I'm new to mopars, and just purchased a 1970 charger. I'm thinking of sending it to (mark worman) grave yard cars, to get restored. Does anyone have any feed back on them. It would help a lot thank u

There are a couple of threads on here about them and I think he even participated on the site very briefly.  Check those other threads and you should find more out.

Aside from the long wait I would imagine the cost would be eye-watering. But you may be one of those guys with gobs of money. :shruggy:

I'd recommend going through some low-profile restoration companies with good reputations. If you are looking at Oregon/SW Washington companies (Graveyard Carz is in Oregon) I would recommend Smith Bros in Appleton Wash., or in Portland there's N. American Muscle Cars and East Portland Auto Body.

Bill Dallas runs E. Portland Auto Body which is really geared toward just body and paint so I don't know about him doing a full restoration but he has restored several Chargers. This 69 was his: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,55345.0.html http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,44966.0.html

The Smith Bros. are building a 69 General Lee right now and they have helped me out many a time. All three of these businesses have helped me out a lot. http://smithbrosrestorations.com/

Steve Miles runs N. American Muscle Cars which specializes in Mopar but I've seen a few Chevys and other misc stuff in his shop. He does a lot of vintage dirt bike racing and restoration too. http://north-american-muscle-cars.com/

Unless your 70 Charger has at least one of the following you probably won't get it on GYC:

1)  It is Mark Worman's Charger he owned in the 1970's.
2)  It is a Hemi
3)  It has some super interesting back story - like the two Superbirds.
4)  It is some superb time capsule of a car with original air in the tires.
5)  You have tons of money and are willing to let Mark have a bunch of it (hey, maybe you want to promote your business on his show!)
6)  You're a hot blonde lady that likes to be on camera and will let Mark drop random movie quotes, then you giggle.

I agree, I've heard good things about Smith brothers.

Also I think it was Bill Dallas who came to my club's all Mopar show in Salem a few years ago with matching chargers for he and his wife.  If those two cars are any indication of his shop's work, then they do an excellent job.  Those two cars were beautiful!

Smith Bros did my Charger (see avatar picture), as well as another car for me...and will be doing another car for me soon as well!

So +1 on the recommendation there  :2thumbs:
