A few of you out there that I have communicated with over the years will be interested to know that Steve Waldman, founder of Silver State Classic Challenge, Inc, home of the Nevada Open Road Challenge and Silver State Challenge passed away last weekend. I don't know what this means for the future of these two events.

I hope they are able to continue the event.  I'd love to run it a couple times.

Though Steve will be sorely missed, the race will most certainly continue on as it has.
