I'm anxious to get those UCA's as well.  Are you going to be installing the other Hotchkis pieces as well, like the strut and steering rods?  That way, you only have to get an alignment once?  That's the way I'm looking at it...

Had to grind some things on car and hotchkis parts but fits like a charm. Now im missing a bolt camber had to order another  :icon_smile_big:

Nice, what did that run yea ?

Nice! Don't they just look cool installed.  :drool5:

People always say the price is insane but when you see them in person you can tell why they are worth the extra cost.

You got your front sway bar in finally?

1974dodgecharger

Yeah after I think 3 months lol.  My coworker and friend we finally both had time to do it...it's awesome.  It has to be welded that's why.

You had to weld in your sway bar ?

myk

Yup, the Hotchkis front sways have brackets that have to be welded in...

It's not bad at all mine looks like it came like that.

Why can't the original sway bars work ? Are the aftermarket ones, that much better ?

I think it has to do with the rigidity of the part, and the change in geometry the new pieces provide. Looks good 74  :2thumbs:

I'm sensing a troll post but I'll respond anyway: bigger bar=more roll control...

I get queasy when it comes to permanently altering the frame; it took me a good hour to finally drill the holes in the rear rails for the sway bar.  I guess I never got over that accident even though the car has.  In any case, I'll be following your lead '74...

Installed, rough align, then real aligned and i have to say the bump steer is nearly gone.  I went over some uneven roads that i know gives me major bump steer and she handled awesome.  I know the tie roads will eliminate it even better but thats down the road for now the arms complete the package on the hotchkis setup a very big thumbs up.  :2thumbs:

Granted i didn't have bump steer until i put on wider tires, fyi.
