Love the ambition   :2thumbs:
My personal opinion being around these cars a lot, is if you're using the SE Opera quarter windows I would definitely go with a vinyl top. I'm not a vinyl top guy either but the 73-74 SE Chargers are a must. I've seen too many SE cars that got the remove vinyl top and smooth over treatment and it looks like crap. Those louver windows were meant to contour with a vinyl treatment, wreath and moldings alike. I like purple with a white top.

I second this.  Please leave the vinyl top on the SE, they just look odd without it.  Good luck with your build!!

Suspension set up, any ideas on what kind of shocks these are or any other information on shock springs like these?

Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Got her home, great!
Looks like you have all the vinyl bumper pieces in place. Weather if you're going to use them or not those are hard to come by especially the piece that is under the front edge of the hood.

This brings back memories, I will always have a soft spot for 73-74 SEs. But I'm committed to my 68 for now. ODZking, Nacho and others know these cars well and I'm sure they will be glad to offer advice as you move forward into your project. Myself as well.

GOOD LUCK

MAD

Picked up a new auto darkening Helmet and a few new things for the rust repair on this project.

MAD

Some things ive been finding in the trunk and under the seats. Found all the rear window trim aswell as the lower chrome piece for the front window. Wiper linkage - motor. the rest of the interior, Ask trays, Glove box, etc..

MAD

Interior is actually in great shape no rips or tears in seats. Going to rip the carpet and install black, Clean white vinyl and maybe re-uphoslter fabric centres with something different

MAD

cleaned out all the mess from the cats and animals that were crawling in it. lifted the carpet to find the floor pan to be 100% there with no weak spots/rust or holes! But the trunk floor pan is a different story.

MAD

Welded in the antena Hole and Front fender hole, not sure what mounts in the front holes?

MAD

The Driver side fender hole was previously Dented in with a hammer and filled with 1/4 of bondo. Ground down all the body filler and hammer and dolly'd the hole back flat them patched with 18 gauge sheet metal.

The Trunk floor/wheel wells are gonna be one of the biggest jobs in the car.

MAD

Passenger side wheel wells arnt as bad.
