It would be my first year to Carlisle, so I guess I am a Carlisle virgin....I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!! I hope that counts Not sure I am bringing my car as I want to enjoy the show, get the layout and prepare myself to bring the car. Looking forward to meeting a few of you guys in person...

I have driven it to Mopars on the Mississippi but I did not have to leave it alone parked at a motel. Wanted to see what the other guys are doing first.

Oh yeah, you'll wish you hadn't driven all that way to only stay one day.  2 at least!  Most of us do 3! Arrive Thursday evening for the cruise, and then OD on Mopar's all day Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday.

Yeah, I have been to their multi make swap meet before and you can't properly do that in a day.  I can easily see how a Mopar specific event could be too much for a day visit, there is a lot of ground there.

Yup. Spent the entire time in the swap area hunting for parts. Had a bad case of swamp ass by the end of that adventure.

I went last year for the first time, had a great time cruising the swap meet!  Didn't know where to park and ended up in ma n pa's backyard taking like 4 trips back and forth to the truck with parts.  Oughta take the charger this year so I can get free parking inside and be closer to the swap.    I would like to get out to one of the generic swap meets some day, I love buying junk!!
