Anybody want to guess what these gauges came out of ?

I'm cleaning out the "Family" storage unit and ran across these gauges...

They're not out of anything I ever had...

And...

My "Brother" was too busy playing dress up and fixing "his" hair to worry about cars... ::)

I figure they might have come out of one of my Dad's foreign cars... :shruggy:

I know he used to have an old late '50 Renault.

( Yes, that's pronounced with a "T" on the end. ;) )

And later, he had a Simca... :scratchchin:

Ideas ?

:scratchchin:  Hmmm.  By the way I don't know anything about the gauges.... sorry.  But I will agree and say they look like foreign car spec.

I tried using a French accent to sound out the words on the gauges, but couldn't figure out whether it sounded more like a Renault or a Simca.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

If they were from a French car the wording wouldn't be in English would it?  There must be a mfg name on them somewhere?
