Throttle lever adapter question

I recently had the throttle cable and carburetor changed.  I am running a quickfuel 830 ss carburetor.

Can someone tell me if I need a throttle lever adapter for this carburetor?

When I checked, it looked like the throttle blades opened all the way, but I do not know if I did it right.  I pulled the lever through the travel of the cable from the engine side.  My leg is not long enough to hold down the gas pedal and check at the same time.

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Yes, you need the holley 20-7 throttle linkage adapter to make it work properly.  ;)

Thank you.  That is what I suspected, but did not know.
