IM really surprised vegascharger does not know whos car that is its one of the best built chargers ever!  It can walk the walk and talk the talk vs other chargers out there and can outdo most modern cars!

IM sure he will respond by, 'I was just kidding after he googles the car'  :icon_smile_big:

I don't like what he does to the cars at all. I have always hated big rims. IMHO the old cars should never have a rim bigger than 16". I suppose the guys that like his cars and wheels are the same ones that like the ricer cars and the mufflers that sound like crap.

Yup, anyone who owns a classic car with big wheels is just a ricer with a car that sounds like crap:

I hope that black 68 is not a real R/T, if it is it's ruined.

Please explain how one of the sexiest looking chargers on the planet is ruined if it was an R/T?   :shruggy:  That car is so far above and beyond what a stock R/T is capable of anyways. Track raced, rally raced, auto crossed, driven across country many times, chasing super cars...If that is ruined then sign me up.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Ghoste

I never noticed that before about 68's being the most common choice for this style mod but you may well be on to something.  Can't think of but a couple of 69 or 70 models.  A couple of 1st gens and a couple of 3rd gens but yeah its mostly 68. :shruggy:

Ghoste

Maybe.  Of course it was the highest production of the 2nd generation so it may be easier to find suitable candidates for a big makeover like that too.

Wicked72

i love the show and the craftsmanship. id say im in the middle abt him. i always go over with my wife on what i want for the charger incase i end up on the show so he doesnt screw it up.

I like him.  Some of his design signatures aren't my exact cup of tea.  That doesn't change my opinion that he seems to be top notch, personally and professionally.

yeah the kid sold it....I remmeber how sweet it was and then I googled it after the show and realized the kid tried to sell it like within 3 months I think of getting it....probably to pay the sales tax on it.

It is still for sale to this day! Very nice car!

Eh...its hit or miss. I liked the Green and Black Challenger. The orange/black, not so much. Now the 67 Charger they did  :2thumbs:

I too, am not a fan of big wheels/tires. Put some different wheels that Charger would look great! Maybe some Torque Thrust with some fat BFG's (with the white letters turned in, of course).

Jason

I might be wrong. But I thought I saw the 67 Charger for sale on ebay.

That was my favorite car that he did on the show (minus the shaker). That 67' came out really nice. I would still prefer it all silver or all black.

Why? I'am thinking of doing the same thing but like all Black also.. This is a very nice combo!

Amen Brother White And Red 69, someone who's not a hater, there's room for all of these quality built cars, some people can't see past their own nose or style either, there's far too many of the purist haters in the MoPar crowd any more, just a little tolerance & respect for others is a much needed thing, it seems to me anyway... There's plenty of original looking OEM type builds out there, 10's of thousands of them & there's nothing wrong with someone building their vision & enjoying, driving, handling, performing, participating in the hobby, helping the hobby to survive & grow, driving around or among the all OEM stuff.... By the way I love your Charger too, classy well done quality build, congrats... I like them in OEM fashion & Pro-Touring Resto-Mod or even Pro-Street or racecars, even better to me, but that's my personal tastes I don't bash someone else because they, choose to build something, they want, not what someone else wants or likes... That crap about if you like the looks of something other than stock or it's got rims that fit your personal tastes, that it's ruined is total crap, we don't need that attitude, among MoPar people, we are already a minority in the hobby, to not need to be bickering & just picking each other apart because of build style, I by far not a Ricer Lover either... I'm a day 2 guy over 100% OEM, but I don't knock all the OEM guys, I have my likes & my taste whether it be a Foose/Overhaulin {I wish I had his contacts, talent & skill, he does far more than what you see on Overhaulin, I do all my own stuff, built many a project & racecars, but I'm still striving to be better builder} type or stock type build, it's my taste... IMHFO We have some great builders of all types here, that can see outside the small minded realm, of just nothing but stock appearing stuff from Ma MoPar, remember there only original once anyway... I've said it before & I'll say it again, there all kinds of tastes out there, all kinds of personalities out there, a little tolerance & respect for others is a much needed thing, especially in the MoPar crowd... Build it how you want it, use what ever parts you can find & afford, drive it like you stole it & damn the rest, who cares what someone else thinks about your car, the rest is just all just petty hater type BS...  :Twocents:

Thanks Budnicks!    You nailed it, the car hobby should be bringing enthusiasts together not driving them apart. Same as you I'm into all types of builds whether its a full blown show car, pro touring, bare bone drivers, drag cars, or backyard builds. If it gets people into the garage or out on the road then I'm into it. I just don't get why some people feel the need to hate on someone else's vision just cause its not their own. And to say something is ruined because of wheel choice is just plain stupid. Like you said, there is plenty of room for all styles.   :2thumbs:
