If you can stuff a Boss 429 in there, you can put a better engine in as well.

You must not have seen the ports on a Boss 429 engine head.......one word....tennis ball.

Wow, and it's a 426.  What a waste of a good engine.

Some dumbass had a 426 Hemi . . . and put Mustang all over it?

Does this speak to the lure of a hemi?   Those that don't have one want one.

As for a waste of a good hemi----this is what hemis are for---they make cars go with added style

And the engine can live to fill another engine bay when the owner wants to take off the mustang clothes.

Ghoste

John Force had one in his Mustang.

ws23rt

When people start thinking about engine swaps and all the choices the hemi just plain makes sense.

Anything with wheels needs a hemi.  I've seen it every where except unicycle.---Hmmm----I'm ok just thinking :slap:

ACUDANUT

A 426 is 100 percent more expensive than Chevy 350.

I agree.

And it looks 1000% better!
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Baldwinvette77

I'd take it over the 350 chevy chargers from fast and furious

Mopar4me

Just goes to show if you can't beat them join them!

ACUDANUT

For the price of that Hemi, you could own 3 Mustangs.

I'd rather own a hemi than 3 "Rustangs".      :Twocents:

Notice the extended studs in the rear wheels.  Apparently the car was raced at the track so it has to be known about.

I agree.  If it did not have the wow value popping the hood would not be the first thing a bystander wants.

Further if the hemi did not have value it would be rusting in the salvage yard or be part of a toyota.

The market dictates the price of stuff.
