I was not to big on ARs, the 223 is a bit small . When the 300 Blackout came out i bought a new AAC AR 15 and love it with a 30 cal bullet. Ammo is a bit hard to find but i reload so that is not to big a deal.Any one else on here into the Blackout. It is a good round to suppress i just need to by a can next.      (Wingmn)

I haven't shot the .300 blackout yet but it seems to be gaining in popularity here.  I wouldn't be surprised to find more and more ammunition companies to make it and become more "mainstream".

A .30 caliber AR would be nice but, I have enough money invested in .223 AR rifles and ammo now and really do not need another caliber to shoot right now.  I have a few AK's in 7.62x39 and plenty of ammo to feed them to satisfy my .30 caliber needs.  At least, for now!   :D

Interesting round. I'm old school .223, read globally common ammo like 7.62......9 mike......45 acp, 30.06
and 12/20 gauge.
While you are retrieving .300 cal brass to reload the rest of us are putting rounds down range.  :Two cents:

I have been debating on the AR-30A1 myself.  Haven't looked into the Blackout yet

You make .300 BO brass out of common .223 brass....

So it's not a problem for re-loaders.

Also it has been around for ever in IHMSA comps as the .300 whisper.
JUNKTRAVELER: all I've seen in this thread is a bunch of bullies and 3 guys that actually give a crap.

I didn't know that. It's good to learn something new. Thanks.

Support and defend our 2nd, we can not allow the sheeple ultra libs their clueless ways. Just sayin'

In other news.....

I just purchased a Mossberg SA 20 Tactical w/syn pistol grip stock. Eager to put some rounds through it.

I hear the 300 BO is popular with the hog hunters. I had considered one for a while but put my rifle plans on hold. Too many other things demanding my money!

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

After seeing the ballistics at work while running test loads, The only way I would ever run 300 blackout is in a suppressed firearm. It really made a difference when you removed the can from the mix. It was much less accurate.
