These are some good Videos and DVD's apparently, they are mostly from Santa Pod I think not far from me in England, i'm not sure if you guys are able to play our DVD's on your machines though, we're Region 2, I think some of the races have music over them but it's kept to a minimum apparently, the Mopar Nats 2005 DVD is probably the best for Dodge Chargers

Two companies I know of here in the United states do DVD's of shows as well.

Five Star Productions which is www.fivestarcarvideos.com

and D.E.L. Productions which is www.delproductions.net

Some of those DVD's at Del Productions look good, do you know if the races have music over them? It's just that I prefer them without as I like to hear the engines, also do you know what region they are? You are Region 1 I think aren't you? We are region 2, or are they multi region, thanks

I'm a little biased on the D.E.L. productions as I'm the one who does those.

To answer one question not all of our races have music in the background. On a few DVD's there isn't any background music during the racing, one 2 there is a few songs during the drag racing.

On the Five Star video's I don't believe he uses any background music during the drag racing. I usually just watch his video's for the car show parts. I do know that a lot of the drag racers love his DVD's as they usually have a lot of drag action on them, and less of the show cars. We try to get ours about 50/50. Usually wind up with more drag action than show cars but I try to make it even.

Alright thanks, are the DVD's multi region?

I'm looking into what exactly is the differnce in the regions from say America to Great Britain. I know that there is PAL, and NTSC and that there are also variances in both formats. We use NTSC on our DVD's and they are standard American format. However most countries around the world have DVD players that are capable of playing most formats. I have a DVD player that I picked up in Thailand that will play PAL and 2 types of NTSC as well. Which is something you'd never see here in the USA as people here tend to be narrow minded and think their formats are the only ones.

I'll try to do some more research but I think that it would play fine, but I won't say for sure it will.

Usually it says on the back of the cover, Multi Region

That is true of many oversea's productions, but isn't typically placed on DVD's orgionating here in the USA unless they are a big studio that does a lot of shipments overseas.

That five star video website isn't working

Might try it again, I just logged on there and had no problems.
