I had posted a topic a few months ago about floorpans and the difference in price.

Both AMD and Classic 2 Current say they use 19 gauge (I got emails from both). However, the C2C is almost have the price. I am going to order soon and was wondering if any of you think the C2C will have less structural integrity as the factory floor (when new) or vs the AMD which, as mentioned, should be the same gauge steel?

Is the AMD worth twice as much?

There aren't that many manufacturers making panels for these cars, there are just tons of resellers.  It may be the same item from every place. 

There is more to metal quality than just the thickness.  There is the alloy content of the steel.  Lots of Asian repro steel is pretty thick but the steel feels too soft & flexible compared to the cold stiff heavy original stuff. 

AMD is generally the best bet.  If you aren't sure, get theirs.

just my 2 cents, the AMD floor DROPS into place like you were on the factory assembly line. If nothing lines up, there is something wrong with your car...These floors are almost a work of art....thank you AMD for making these floor panels, my town was running out of stop signs! lol!

The Classic 2 are Sherman's I think. I used Sherman's 3/4 length pans on my 68. Nice parts good heavy gauge steel, the main difference is, no EDP coating on Sherman's they are bare metal,and none of the holes are punched (drain plugs, seat mounting holes, etc,) so they have to be drilled. I have used AMD parts and Sherman's....not much difference really in fit or quality.

Sherman doesn't make them . Sherman just sells what C2C makes . I never bought C2C Floorpans but I have bought some patch panels and a
Rocker from them . Good price , good thickness , but I didn't like like the forming . None of the body lines matched up on the panels and the Rocker
doesn't match much of anyplace on the old one . I'm going to have to rework the entire piece . You get what you pay for .

It's a floor panel, not a quarter.  Get the cheaper one, it'll work fine.

I have to agree with Dino.  I've used AMD and others and both may or may-not require work to make them fit right.  AMD seems to have all the holes punched but that can be a problem depending on how straight your car is and how close you need everything to fit.   With "other" you can punch the holes yourself to get it to fit rather than "adjusting" the position of the pre-punched hole. Just a thought.

I am using a Goodmark full floor. I have heard good things about their floor panels. I am installing it right now and can't complain.

It's a floor panel, not a quarter.  Get the cheaper one, it'll work fine.
