radio light

my original radio is in the dash but I have another working one in the glovebox. what I need to know is there a light inside the original or do you plug a light into it. I want the original radio lit up even though it don't work. its past fixing but it looks new. it would be cool if it lit up at night.

Hi.

There 's a light built into the original radio. On the power connector for the radio one wire is for the radio power, another for the light . The light is powered by the dash light circuit.
