It's a fun idea to talk about but kind of stupid in reality. It seems pretty narcissistic to bury yourself with $15k-$20k worth of iron considering the guy doesn't care about anything of the sort now. I'm sure someone living could have put the money to better use. We probably love our Chargers just as much but I doubt a single one one of us would destroy one trying to prove it.

I'm not a big Harley connoisseur but you'd think a 1967 in good shape can't be too common. Even the newer more common Harleys are worth $12k-$15k aren't they?

Hmm---Are we grave robbers? ----Those that were buried with their stuff in Egypt went to great lengths to keep it safe from robbers but still they came.

$12-15k has been wasted in plenty of stupider ways than this.  I wouldn't do it but it doesn't stand out for craziness IMO.

  Jay Leno talked bout this on show Tonight an showed a picture of old guy on bike. Then cuts to a snowy graveyard and says 10 minutes later,, then a little video of Jay with a shovel starting to dig up the bike. i got a good laugh out of it.

     he could of given the bike for auction to raise cancer funds or done lots of good things to save the neat old bike . But no take it with you and destroy it in the ground. will probably fill with water in spring an ruin that bike.

     yet all those idiots are helpping destroy it to please some dead guys crazy idea??? total waste ,Moran...DJ
