the only one good song this band ever had

While I agree they had only one good song, my pick would be Over the Hills and Far Away.
Indiana Army National Guard 1st Battalion, 293rd Infantry. Nightfighters. Fort Wayne Indiana.

Never was an Iggy fan really and I think Zeppelin had more than 1 good song.  I really like Moby D!ck, Heartbreaker-livin' lovin' maid, babe, I'm gonna leave you, Kashmir and more.  I started playing guitar in 1980 and grew up listening to all the good rock groups.  When I was a teenager, we didn't have computers and anything like that, wasn't really into watching sports . . . what we did was go to concerts!  I remember when Van Halen first came out and everyone was all into them.  They came to Detroit on their first tour and did 5 shows . . . I went to 4 of them!  Tickets were like 22 bucks or something like that . . . .

There is alot of good music from that era . . .  :cheers:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

I like some LZ stuff. Listen to a lot of AC\DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Bob Seger, etc. 70's and 80's. But during high school I was listening to Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp, Scorpions and these guys (I dated a girl who loved these guys, so I heard them a lot).

anybody have any interest in 60s American underground bands eg, rockabilly, punk, rock and roll, and can post up some youtube clips. On a different note here is a current English band with strong influences from little Richard and jerry lee lewis. Jim jones Review {High Horse}

yeah sure I was exaggerating a bit, heard a live recording of led zep on the radio recorded when they first started out they were sensational. didn't like them when they changed suppose some of their 20 minute songs wouldn't be too bad if they were condensed to about 2 minutes. Not a real big fan of Iggy either but he has about 6 really good songs some average and a lot are  boring. I respect him as he is a pioneer and survivor. must have been great to see van halen with David Le Roth

Anything but country and I have zero use for the sound of a banjo.

FlatbackFanatic

I like a variety of Rock music to Hard  Rock to Metal. Also Blues. Right now I'm liking Amon Amarth Swedish Death Metal Group, saw them in concert last Saturday night in Mpls.
It was a great concert( some of their music has to do with Norse Mythology) which is pretty cool (I've got Icelander and Norwiegan in me).

jaak

Pretty much anything except.... hip hop (but do like 'old school' rap.... RUN DMC, LL COOL J, etc.) This new garbage they call 'country' (but do like real Country.... Hank, Merle, Waylon, etc.) Grew up on mainly classic rock and metal. I played drums in a bluesy type group when I was younger, Now I play banjo in a bluegrass band.
