Bulge hood question

Think I am going to buy a 71, will a 73-74 bulge hood fit it properly or were there differences?

I've got a 71 hood on my 73 Randy.
Only difference are the cowl vents. More in 71, less in 72, less and separated in 73 and none in 74.

If anyone near Cameron, NC has a 71 version and wants to trade for a 74 version ( no grille) I would be game.  Mind has no inserts or louvres, currently in primer with some surface rust, but no major issues.

Well, I'd suggest 74 is out unless you plan on changing the wipers to the ones with the squirters on the arm. No vents on 74.
