very funny espisode....

I guess I am not surprised by the outcome.  I don't expect a 3500lb 40 year old car to win a road race against newer imports.  The classic car still looks amazing on the track regardless of the outcome.

:yesnod:  like that , there are a few more on there too will watch later ,  nothing on there we did not all know , lighter  smaller 200 +  bhp  car with modern suspension ,  braking & driver aids  on that sort of track , would show the muscle cars the fastest way home !!  need longer straights  , cause while the muscle car guys are standing on the brakes , to get  that heavy iron slowed down for the corner , the import guys have not even thought about braking yet  :P  , with out looking at the rest of the shows , I'm betting  the import / ricer    prolly beat all  muscle cars :yesnod:  :RantExplode:  ;),

I pretty much thought they where screwed from the start. Heavy cars do not like fast turns.

Lets see a drag races with the Farm Truck as a ringer.  :2thumbs:

It'd help if they actually had a few guys driving the muscle cars that had some driving talent.

I don't mind the show, especially with having Ken Squire doing the announcing, but I could do without the other guys antics.

I know its all done I fun , for the show , but the other commentator Jon reep  ,

tell you what , not taking anything away from these cars & drivers  , but  few of them import drivers have been round that track hundreds of times prolly in there own car , getting the feel of it how it behaves   , especially the  the driver of the  white VW station wagon ,  would be supprised if I was wrong !!  no way would I give mine a good hiding round a track  that ive only driven round a couple of times  , although perhaps i'm getting too careful  the older i'm getting  :icon_smile_blackeye:

watched all eight now  , there is some good races ,  well worth  fast forwarding IMO   to the money run at the end of each one !!  :yesnod:

heres all of them  , I enjoyed watching these , worth  just watching the money race at the end of each show  :yesnod:

bull

If today's car companies were half as concerned with style as they are with performance we'd be in car heaven right now.

I just wish they didn't push the 'Redneck' card so hard, almost takes away from the actual racing...

The first time I watched that episode, I was disappointed.  Maybe, if they let him drive the General instead of a damn Camaro :scratchchin:
