Im on chargerforums but not lx forums. I don t frequent any of the newer forums often. The crowd seems very "ricer" their "mod" list usually includes steroes, rims, headlights and stickers........ not my cup of tea.... :pity:

There are a couple guys who add superchargers but yes they add all that stuff mentioned 90 percent of them.  They are more worried about their headlight colors vs engine performance but hey I guess u have a modern car like that u dont worry about the engine.

I'm a longtime member there (2006) but haven't really been active there in a couple years. Only really log in to ask for some very specific tech advise or to look for parts, etc.

As much as I like to think I'm part of the modern crowd, I do agree with the previous two posts...too much emphasis on really inane stuff . for every guy posting about his Supercharged 426 stroker, there are 1,236 guys posting about their awesome Lavender LED dome lights or their door projector lights :rotz:

I hang out strictly in the "Northwest" section so I never run into much of that.  Most of the local LX members' are racers'.  There's a group that run around in Seattle & Portland called the "nitwits & dingbats".  One of the main guys owns a repair shop in downtown Vancouver.  It's more of a speed shop.  But his last name is Ding hence the dingbats.
Anyhoots each group of them have install parties where they're adding supercharger', different heads, etc.
A couple years back they took 2 semi trucks to race a Super Bee & Charger R/T, '06-'10 version down to the MATS to race.
The guy with the Bee has a built 426 stroker with a 500 shot.
There's an Asian dude from Seattle who's had Ding build him a 9 second ride.  I was sitting next to Ding when he clicked off the 1st 9 second LX ride in the northwest, maybe west coast?

Pix of the Bee.  I think his best was low 10's.  Last I heard talking to Ding was he planned on lowering the NOS, too much shit breaking.  Besides, he missed driving it to work everyday.

Listening to this thing idle is crazy.  You don't expect it out of something so new, but it just lunges forward with each revolution.
