A 69 Charger that I painted for some guy.

I started using Sikkens water based paint in the late 90's.  I love everything about it but have seen a few really bad results when people sanded through the primer and shot the base over bare metal like on an edge of a fender.  Before you know it it'll be rusting through the new paint job.  You had to make sure everything was covered in primer.  I'm sure they have perfected these by now.  Glasurit was actually my favorite water base.

Man do I miss body work...

been doing more work now and then. got the tank in, rear wiring ,dash, cliff came and did the headliner. got  he hood lights in and the depression decals. also got the original door seals cleaned up,new clips and installed. Someday it may be a real Charger again....... I can see it off in the future through my minds eye.

Colomn shift car ?

I like the Fenderwell headers....hopefully they'll get a ceramic coating to keep them looking pretty and keep things cool underhood.  My one concern with fenderwell headers on a street car is the close proximity to the master cylinder.

Here are some more pics.Not a lot of progress lately,waiting for parts.....

The seat backs are the new plastic ones with matching white vinyl covering.

The seat tracks are painted ultra shiney to A-Rons ,minds eyes ,likeing....

The interior is close to being ready to just slip together....As soon as the Pg classics upper door pads are here. Then I will take a break until the engine s done. In the mean time my minds eye sees a Hemi going into the engine compartment my f8 69 R/t.
