Hey gang,
Anyone have a good part number/vendor for the reverse light switch on a '69 Charger 4-speed? My friend needs one and was going to try and find one locally..... The local parts store seems to not totally be there, i.e., Dodge Charger, "Is that a 2 or 4-wheel drive"... Duuhhh, "Not a Ramcharger !!!!"........ lol   They keep referring him to  the safety-neutral switch...

That's the only thing you need on the tranny?  My reverse lights/reverse indictator don't work and there's nothing plugged into anything on the tranny.

the older switches often leaked through the bakelite , the new design is far better & is molded nylon
you need 2 wires to the switch 1 power & the second to the reverse lights

Bingo !!!   ;D   You've solved you're own problem.. Now, if you need a picture of where the harness plugs into the bulkhead, I can take a picture of Dana, she's a 4-speed car..........

I really don't know.   :-\  Brewer's has them listed for a good price ($30 if I remember right) so I might pick one up anyway while they're still available.  I added the in car light too, so I need the wire to travel up there.   If I get my clutch AND my wiring working I'll not only be able to PUT the car in reverse...but other drivers will know it it too!  Wow!! :o

I've seen the complete inside light and harness as well on ebay occassionally.. It's a pretty simply harness. The exterior one is simple too... Better check to make sure the one they sell is "plug and play"... In essence, do you have to modify it in order for it to work?
