I am retired, but it was for health reasons, i REALLY wish i could work, I was an auto & motorcycle mechanic,cyl head porter, engine builder. now i fumble around trying to build my charger & i am grateful to GOD that i am getting to try,if i did not have something to look forward to, it would be bad.

I am retired now (since Feb. 2011) after suffering a stroke in June 2010 and enjoy getting up when I want and doing what I want although, dealing with the after-effects of my stroke has not been pleasant.
Spent a total of 28 years as an Air Traffic Control Specialist with a "break" in service (long story) in between 2 sessions. Also spent 12 years working for the State of Texas as a Benefits Counselor at the local Federal VA facilities helping Veterans obtain their benefits. I was accredited to present claims and appeals all the way up to the Board of Veterans Appeals in Washington D.C. with 7 different organizations.
As a former combat Marine, I saw many deserving people that needed help through the maze that can be VA Benefits and I was extremely happy to help them out.

I was a Day Shift Supervisor, In charge of a crew of 27, at a Metallurgical Site (a mine that made Copper/Zinc...I was in charge of the final product), but, they shut us down...now do Social Work...

I'm a real estate broker who primarily sells foreclosed properties.  That is slowing though and I may have to break down and start showing homes to the public again . . .

I Machine / Build and DYNO Engines... mostly Mopars. Lotsa Drag Racing along the way.
Been doing it for 35 years.
Spent 18 years as a Professional Firefighter as well... but got too busy at the Shop, "sideline" became the mainline, couldn't do both, so I left.

Now, pretty much Old and Stoo-pid... I'm lucky enough to just "play" with Engines to keep enough Money in the Bank for Bills.

Mechanic my whole life. Started at a John Deere dealership when I was 16, Moved to Texas with my wife at 20 and took a job doing brakes and front end alignments at a Kelly Springfield service store, that was in 78 and 79. Then left there and went to work at Ditch Witch of East Texas working on Trenchers and underground boring machines. Took over as Service Manager in 1983 then in 1995 I took over the parts manager position also, working both departments. Stress finally got the best of me so I left there in 2002. Worked as General Manager for a friend of mine in his body shop for a short time, Took a job driving truck across all 48 for a short time then in 2006 I came back to Ohio to take care of the folks.  2008 I took a 4 hour a day job at the high school I graduated from as a bus mechanic and substitute bus driver.  When I'm not doing that I'm working around the family farm or my cars.
