Do you guys have a bucket list?If so what is it on it?

Or you call it your dreams?I try to make my dreams to come true no matter what they are!
I'm sure everyone one has a "dream" no matter how small it is and the list gets bigger as we experience more!

After 5 years with the wife i realise that it is easier to make your dream come true when someone is supporting you and helping you achieve it!

Mine were are so far but not in this order!

1.Gonging to America(done that 3times now but for only for holidays)
2.going to Australia and kill a crock (went there but no killing any crock but had a great times, will go back again with the family)
3.travelling (went the above places plus Thailand,India,Saudi Arabia Red See,Italy,Portugal,Spain,France-Paris,)
4.scuba diving (got my open water diving license done at the Great Barrier Reef)
5.skydiving certificate  (done it)
6.Buy a '69 charger before my wedding and drive to church in her (done it)
7.buy my dream Ducati motorcycle (done)
8.have a Dobermann, wanted one since i was 12 (going to have next month)
9.Go to Japan,China see the Great wall,go to Peru to see Machu Picchu (not done but will one day)
10.See the Aurora Boralis with the wife and make a snow angel while we glance at the sky
11.buy a Friesian horse (will,hope one day)
12.have a '68-'69 4 speed charger and keep it all my life
13.living in the States for good (will happen one day)
14.have 3 kids ,2 boys 1 girl but as long as they are healthy the gender not an issue (have one boy now)
15.last but not least have a great wife to accomplice these with (done :icon_smile_big: )

Edit:16.going to Pamplona running with the bulls

and will have more i think to come later!

What's yours?

Graduate fall 2015 with a bachelor's of science in exercise science.
Graduate from PA school 2 years later
See more of the US and hopefully other parts of the world.  Saw Europe plenty.
Restore the Charger once school is over and I have a steady job.

Did everything else I wanted to do so I think I'll be able to manage this.

That is not really a bucket list,is it?

Sure it is!

Those are the things I want to do still.  I don't have anything else planned.  I already moved to the US from Europe and many things got scratched off the list since I've been here so now I am focused on finishing school, which I started at age 36.  I worked in body shops for over 15 years so to be able to start over and actually have a chance of becoming a PA is a huge opportunity.

Ten years ago my list would've said:

Own Charger - Done
Drive said Charger - Done...a lot
Work on Charger - Doing so right now

Many more along the same lines follow and on the Charger topic, I am living the dream!

I also met my wife 10 years ago who pretty much saved my sorry ass and who has been the love and light of my life ever since.  So what can I put on my current bucket list?  All I want is to spend my life with her, travel, enjoy my car and finally do something career wise that makes sense.

Thanks by the way, I'm feeling pretty lucky and happy right now!  Think I'll go have another cup of coffee and wallow in my sunny mood a bit.

Things I want to do before I kick the bucket (or at least say I have seen or done)

I have already been talking to my wife about these a few years ago so she knows it is coming

In no real order

See lava in a real volcano

See a real tornado twister

See with my own eyes either king or queen of England

Visit Australia (my brother lives there)

Own a real wing car or a clone (have started gathering bits for clone)

See Statue of Liberty

Travel some

I already have a bunch of stuff done wife , kids, built my own house ...

Good topic.

Turned 50 in October.  To celebrate, my wife and I put together a combined bucket list (except for the 3 way).
I encourage everyone not to wait until 50.  Write it down at 40.  Life moves fast!

Dont forget the little stuff.  I've never ice skated on the lagoon behind my house.  I've never water skied behind my boat.  I gotta' get on those quickly!

We added a once-a-year list for things we enjoy, but, forget to make time for when we get to busy.  i.e. a Tribe game, host a fish-fry, etc.

The only charger related item on the Bucket List is to take it to a Drive-In movie.

I've got a couple things Dc.com members may be able to help with:

- Pheasent hunting (wild/real)
- Prairie Dog hunting/shooting
- Fly-In fishng trip (Canada)

Good Luck with your list!

Good luck on accomplishing your list!   But, shouldn't #15, be marked as done?   ;)

I don't plan too much ahead, but I would like to make it to Hawaii some day.

As a scientist, the quest for the truth is what I seek.  I really do not have a "bucket list", but have certain problems that I would like to solve within my lifetime.  One of them is to find the actual solution to the Theory of Everything that Albert Einstein was working on before he died.  That is the working relationship between gravitational forces, electromagnetic forces, strong forces and weak forces within matter.  It is something that I ponder over late at night when I can't sleep.  I have potentially found some of the missing pieces that may lead me in the correct direction, time will tell.  If I can get that done, then I can die happy....

Thanks bigblck11 for pointing it out for me :2thumbs:

Uppss, yeah i should have marked it as done, don't tell her that i forgot it  :slap:

Don't postpone Hawaii too much,it is a beautiful place to be and you won't regret going there! You can't be that far away from it so take the time to enjoy yourself! After all if i,from Hungary, was be able to go there twice now,for you guys that should not be a problem!
If money if the object than just find a cheaper ticket and go then. Our ticket was around $120 each and it wasn't too bad.Hotel prices are all over the place but if you shop around you could find some good deals!Maybe a member from here(sure someone is from Hawaii)could hook you up with something.

We don't know what tomorrow brings so don't wait too long!Had a friend who died last year, was only 29,in a car crash so time is precious! It's a cliche but true!

They are all great lists,carry on,please! :2thumbs:

Who said it was perfectly good? :smilielol:

But to answer your question,IT'S FUN!!!!Fear of heights is nothing to do skydiving! You can't see any objects to see how high or how fast you are going!

1) Make my kids happy, teach them well...for morals and stuff...did it...
2) Live a simple life (off the grid)...that will happen soon...
3) Find a partner, to grow old with
4) Get (replace) a couple of cars(I sold) or I always wanted, a Charger being one...

Haha, hate flying, don't want to jump off/things, or climb things...traveled enough...

was never a big fan of travel...hot is hot, a beach is a beach, to me...traveling/exploring is just a drive away....so many things to see down abandoned roads,,,,

Interesting topic. My list has always been about a 5-year rolling outlook. A lotta stuff has been scratched off, and it feels good.

What's on it now, pretty much in time order:

1) Attend speed week at Bonneville.
2) Mountain bike the Iron Horse trail one last time.
3) Attend the Nascar Bristol night race.
4) Quit work.
5) Circumnavigate the US by motorcycle.

There are a bunch of sub-items under #5 as to specific stops and who and what I'm going to see and do.

5 years +? To be determined.
