You should have two of them, a left and a right.  They hold the carpet down along the bottom of the rear interior panels.  You have to pull the rear seat bottom up to install them.  Hope this helps!  WINGNUT

Yep, sill plate extension.  :yesnod:
You don't need to pull the rear seat out though, but it does make the job easier. You do have to loosen up the sill plate. You can use either a long screwdriver or one with a flex extension. (Don't ask how I know...)  :scratchchin:

I wish those things would line up better with the front sill plate.  Somehow it just doesn't look right.

I think mine look okay.

Got a pic?  I'm thinking of getting a new set for mine as one is really pitted.

I can get them later today.

Oh no rush.  My car is not going anywhere for a long time to come.

They are aluminum... Easy to buy a new one. BUT.... IF YOU DONT WANT TO BUY A NEW ONE.. They have been anodized... sand off the anozation (think that's right) with 320 grit paper, finish with 500 then polish. They will turn out like brand new.

You just have to get the film off of them.. sand until that goes away. don't be scared, it will look like crap, then the 500 or 600 grit, to the polisher and they will look amazing.
