1974dodgecharger

I personally dont care what happens to the charger just like how I don't care u dont like my 20inch rims in the rear lol....its just easy to predict these things.  Let him restore....the charger alone is already vs a mustang.

That I like making comments since we all have one....

That car looks pretty solid for the most part from the pics.  You could restore it to the tag and have a unique one off or clone it to whatever you wanted and drive it for many years.

yeah that's what i'm thinking , looks real good  for the most part , factor in two quarters  , tail trunk floor  & extersions , lower valance ,  end caps  few repairs round the rear glass rockers/sills!  other than that looks good under side  :yesnod:   a quickie blowover in resale red  makes it look better too  :P  although I bet there is more rot than the pictures show  :yesnod:

don't see any problems in buying this ( upon inspection of course ) & the price is right !!  if I wanted to build a clone ! good starting point  &  you still have a pretty rare charger a slant six originally , if that makes sense  :scratchchin: :P :yesnod:

It makes perfect sense and if I had money and time for a project that car would be an ideal starting point for someone like me to do maybe a DMCL clone.  I can't envision buying it to flip, when I personally think about it, I think about things you could do relatively cheaply.

Is it just me or do the leaf spring rails look like they have had work done to them.  I am guessing it has had rail caps put on them from Auto Rust Technicians.

It is a bargain compared to this turd.

I won this little gem last week on E-Bay ( look under completed listings) for $14,500.00.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Charger-SE-1969-dodge-charger-se-5-2-l-/201020231311?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2ecdbd4e8f&item=201020231311&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

Went to pick it up last week and the car is good for scrap, literally..  There was not one solid panel on the car, fenders, roof, doors and quarters were totally rotted away, it was so full of bondo I can only imagine how cans they went through.  The front frame rails are gone, so are the floors, wheel wells and trunk floor.  The sails panels all around the rear window are completely rotted out.  The taillight section is covered with duct tape and painted black. It may look decent in pictures, but she is one the rustiest Chargers I have ever seen. No, I did not come home with it, just out gas money and time.

It reminds me of a '69 Charger my brother's buddy had in '78. It was turquoise with white interior /6 3 speed car. I don't kniw what ever happened to it.
I'm guessing the car will be bid to 12K.

I see no a  problem making a very nice car out of this one for under $15 k.

Problem is that it'll be worth 11K when done.
If that's your sole motivation...money....then get the f*ck outta this hobby. You, along with BJ, along with flippers are ruining this hobby.
