I seen a few comments about poor quality ad's Craig List, so I would like your folks input on mine. We all know I am not know for my proper grammar or spelling!  :smilielol: In fact, I still have some Cuda Ken Decoders Rings, only $15.00 a pop!  :D

Your not gonna sell it cause the ad is not controversial enough.......

Say the item is 1 out of 5 available in the world, rare item, if u fix it then it will triple its value, last but not least , if it does not sell I will just crush it!

If you need something controversial, may I should list how I got / won the grill!  :D

Other than that, what did you think?

It'll be perfectly normal to them.  One syllable words and some grunts for good measure.

JB400

Too bad you wasn't selling a Charger grille that cheap.

twodko

Just wondering.......

Why do people spell out their phone number instead of simply typing it out?  :shruggy:
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

Why on earth would you list an address on CL  :Twocents:

Key takeaway for me from this ad:

A new '69 Camaro grille (a one year only part, to boot) is only 180.00

Why am I into Mopars again?  Holy crap that's cheap.
[ŌŌ]ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ[ŌŌ] = 68
[ŌŌ][ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ][ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ][ŌŌ] = 69
(ŌŌ)[ƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗ](ŌŌ) = 70

Yea, Chevy parts are cheap. :-\ I bet you can buy Chevy parts at Wall Greens!

Reason I spelled out some of the numbers in my phone number is Craig List will block it I do all numbers.  :shruggy:

The bots thing is a bonus though.  Plus its a least a tiny IQ qualifier for whoever you have tol deal with.

Not enough information, does it fit my Demon? :pity:

Why are mopar pieces so expensive...... AMD sells the entire rear panel (valance and taillight panel) for a camaro for like 100$ , but the same pieces for a charger is more like 800$ or so, but its still just stamped steel  :rotz:

due to rarity of the car itself (im assuming) im only basing this off the fact that for example there were roughly 90k 68 chargers made/sold vs the same year mustang they sold/mad 400k.

The markets are bigger for mustang guys so the products can be cheaper vs us guys so more people buy vs us less of a market.

You be surprised when I drive my 68 around that folks think its a fckin 'MUSTANG' just because well its so well known and sold so many I consider the mustang a 'dime a dozen' crowd in general in comparsion to the charger.  Facts are facts and those are based on numbers during that era.....

Ghoste

Exactly, its harder to subsidize costs over GREATLY smaller production runs.

Yes Fin, I am HO scale Train Person as well. If you are into trains, PM me. I am taking part of the layout down so I can get my 68 Road Runner back into the garage. I will have some stuff that I will not have room for.

It's a good ad...BUT if I were running the same part, this is what I would have said:

For Sale, super rare front grille off an original 1969 COPO ZL1.  One just like it sold for over $400.000 (when mounted on the correct car) at Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale last year.  Never raced, never seen rain or winter weather....off a Southwest rust free Arizona car.

The grille is far from perfect, but then neither are you...just look in the mirror.  It has a few imperfections but since you are too cheap to spend $180.00 for a new grille you shouldn't be asking any questions about its condition.  Just send a check (Certified check, as I don't trust any cheap individuals) and don't waste my time with stupid questions about its condition.  Yes, it does have a few "stress cracks", but  those are from my stress having to deal with cheap individuals that are looking for a deal.  And, there is a portion of one mounting tab that is broken....but you will more than likely be using wire and duck tape to mount the grille anyway, so don't worry about it.

Please feel free to call with any offers that are higher than my asking price.....otherwise please don't bother me with any questions that I will not answer honestly anyway.....

Best time to call me is right before you plan to mail the check at:  (xxx) xxx-xxxx
