Do somebody ever tried this ?

this will lower the car AND should keep the pinion angle correct, instead go with the front bracket being upsided down

Would in not work like the oval spring eye Mopars without the benefit of any rubber insulator at all?

Nacho-RT74

actually don't care about keep isolation, juts lower the car and reduce/eliminate side movement

just found these, which should be quiter:

( and cheaper than the AFCO )

but... seems to be higher...

So that thing goes in place of the front hangar?

its not a bad idea. lots of people use them in 4x4,oval track, auto x ,drag racing,i have a set from speedway for my car,to make it work correct it should be installed pointing at the front spring bolt.

yeap, same link I posted before.

never thought on an angled position before that article, and honestly dunno how critical could be on this.

thinking on maybe make them locally... and with nylon sliders instead bearings

but shorter like the bearings ones, to lower the ride ( and remove the spacer block on my Charger )

Speedway website carries good measurements and dimensions to make them instead buy.

well, they are also way cheaper than the AFCO ones...

Forgive my ignorance, but if the rearmost part of the car is dropped, would the pinion angle not change?

Nacho-RT74

yes, of course... but still being better than flip up the front bracket

Block spacers are made angled to obtain a similar position than installing this slider

and STILL, if not welding, but bolting, you can shim the slider too

If you have to put in a spacer to obtain the correct pinion angle, how is it better?  Im not following but never great at geometry so...

Nacho-RT74

No, I meant, when using the spacer these get an angle to compensate what gets lowered the car againt the pinion angle. Using the slider will get lowered the car AND being the rear point the one being modified, the angle will be setted on the right direction... opposite to what it happens flipping down the front bracket.

using just the slider will set the angle on the same direction the angled block spacers do to just lower the car

THEN if using the slider, the pinion angle is too much you could correct it shimming the slider ( is juts an idea )

the main goal on this slider is not just get lowered the car, like mostly save the arch efect  and the side movement of the shackles

The side to side I understand but Nacho my friend, my brain just isn't getting the rest of it today.  I believe what you are saying but for some reason I am unable to process it today.  You ever get those when you just can't think?

Nacho-RT74

and maybe I can't say it correctly either LOL

I think you're saying correctly, I'm just having a stupid day.  Each time I try to visualize the geometry and it changing I draw a blank.
