B-body ball joint dust boots - which goes where?

Long story short,  I got a replacement set of upper/lower ball joint dust boots that are made by Energy Suspension.   They didn't come with instructions, and I can't tell which set are for the upper and which for the lower ball joints.    The only major difference between the two sets is one set is  about 5/16" taller than the other set- so which set is meant for the upper ball joint and which set is for the lower?

Thanks!
David

P.S. -   A link  to the boots in question (Unfortunately it doesn't say there which is which, either...   :'(  )

is one hole smaller than the other  :scratchchin:

You know, it didn't occur to me to check.... but yes the tall one has a 5/8" while the shorter one is 11/16"     Not obviously different until you measure...

could mesure the tapered shaft on the upper & lower ball joints  , to see which one is the best match & or fit the best  ,  although looking at the few on the net ,  the ball joint boot that has a extre flat part at , is for the top ball joint  :scratchchin:

maybe email energy suspension & ask them whats what ?

I think I'll do that-  That extra flat part has me stumped,  so I'll shoot them a email and see what they say.

Thanks!

That washer goes over the top of boot, see how it's notched, to stop boot wearing against arm and to limit the amount of grease able to push through notch, just a way to lube extra areas of wear

In case someone else has this question, I got ahold of someone on Energy Suspension's tech line the other day- the 'tall' boot is for the top ball joint,  the shorter one for the lower.   Installed both of them and they fit perfectly!
